FRANKLIN POOL TO OPEN FRIDAY, JUNE 5TH

The City is pleased to announce the opening of the Franklin Pool on Friday, June 5th.


Please note there are some changes to the normal operations to ensure compliance with the guidance from the NC Department of Health and Human Services:

  • The number of patrons will be limited to 50 at any one time in the pool. This will be on a first come first serve basis.
  • The hours will be separated into two sessions (except Sundays) so that proper cleaning and sanitizing can be done. All patrons must leave at the end of each session.
  • No outside toys will be allowed & the concession stand will not be open.
  • Large groups should be limited to 25 individuals.

  • Please note that per the NC Governor’s Order for Phase 2 of openings, Pools can be opened, but playgrounds will remain closed.

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY, AND SATURDAY SESSIONS:

 - 11am-2pm

 - 2:45pm-5:45pm

TUESDAY AND THURSDAY SESSIONS:

 - 11am-3pm

 - 3:45pm-7:45pm

SUNDAY SESSION:

 - 1pm-5pm.
