City Clerk

Duties
The City Clerk gives notice of meetings of Brevard City Council, keeps a journal of the proceedings of council, is the custodian of city public records and performs other duties that may be required by law or council. The City Clerk’s Office is responsible for the issuance of privilege (or business) licenses for the city.

Serve On a Board
If you are interested in serving on a board or committee to which City Council makes appointments, please complete an application form and submit it to the City Clerk's Office.

Facilities
Facilities available to nonprofit community oriented organizations for meetings are the City Council Chambers and the French Broad Community Center. For more information or reservations for these facilities, you may contact the Clerk's Office.
